This collection is the exhibition “In Piedi da Solo” (Standing Alone), which will be on display at Imagina Cafe (directions here) in Venice from August 13 to 31, 2026.
A collection of urban photography where the only human being present is the one behind the camera. Each photo offers a small glimpse of the city, where the subject is the city itself rather than human beings—who are either entirely absent or relegated to distant shadows.
Indeed, the title “In Piedi da Solo” describes the actual structure of all the photos. They are all vertical (“standing”) shots in which the observer/photographer is completely alone, without any other human presence.
